01 Event Background
Shengfang, China, as the core area of the national metal and glass furniture industry and the base of characteristic customized furniture industry, always adheres to design innovation to enhance product value and empower industrial development. This competition will pay special attention to the intelligentization and aging-adaptation of furniture, which can be applied in multiple scenarios, and the optimization of space brought by multifunctionality. Entries must leverage the advantages of Shengfang as a furniture production hub (raw materials, craftsmanship, etc.), aiming to align with the actual needs of enterprises and accelerate the value transformation from design concept to product realization.

03 Event Requirements
Participants:
Full-time college students and graduate students enrolled in variousinstitutions of higher learning across the country are eligible to participate.
Work Requirements:
The entries for this competition are civilian/office/leisure furniture (meeting the requirements of industrial transformation)
Design Theme:
Design Empowerment Industrial Transformation The content of the work to be submitted Entry form, scheme effect diagram, product 3D model diagram Three-view drawings (design dimensions, process nodes, etc.)
Note: The file format of the work should be *.JPEG, with a resolution of 300 dpi, dimensions of A3 (297mm × 420mm), and arranged in portrait orientation.
Note: The "work title" needs to be marked within the layout, but the
author's name or other information related to the author must not appear.
The images should be named as "work title-sequential number".

Prohibition regulations
1. It is prohibited for the specifications of flat effect drawings to exceed
or be smaller than A3 size (297mm×420mm).
2. It is prohibited to have a horizontal plane effect diagram.
3. It is prohibited to write the author's name on the front of the submitted
artwork.
4. It is prohibited to compress files without signing them in the required format.
04 Competition schedule
Work submission: October 15, 2025 - February 28, 2026
Work review: March 1, 2026 - March 10, 2026
Preparation for award presentation: March 11, 2026 - April 5, 2026
Exhibition period: April 8, 2026 to April 10, 2026

05 Award Settings
First Prize (1 winner): Prize money of RMB 5,000 and a certificate of honor. Second Prize (3 winners): Prize money of RMB 2,000 yuan and a certificate of honor. Third Prize (5 winners): RMB 1,000 in cash and a certificate of honor. Excellence Award (20 winners): Honor certificate.
Best Organization Award (School), Excellent Guidance Award (Teacher) The award-winning works will be incorporated into the Shengfang Furniture Design Achievement Transformation Database, establishing a
platform for collaboration between schools and enterprises.
06 Awarding method
(1) The award-winning works will receive a certificate of honor and a prize jointly awarded by Shengfang Furniture Association and Shengfang International Furniture Expo Center.
(2) For the winners of the first, second, and third prizes, the organizing committee will invite them to Shengfang to receive their awards in person and will cover their accommodation expenses.
(3) The honor certificates for the winners of the Excellence Award will be delivered to the winners by mail or courier.
(4) The award-winning works will be exhibited and the award ceremony will be held at the "33rd China Shengfang International Furniture Fair" in April.

07 Intellectual Property Regulations
1. All entries must be original works with independent intellectual property rights of the author and have not been published before. Product schemes that have participated in other design competitions or served as third-party services are not eligible for participation. Otherwise, the organizing unit of the competition has the right to disqualify them at any stage of this design competition, and any legal disputes and responsibilities arising therefrom shall be borne by the author himself.
2. The copyright of the dissemination, exhibition, publication, and printing of the entries belongs to the organizing committee. When using the entries, the organizing committee will attribute the author, mentor, and department (faculty) according to the "Entry Form".
3. The organizing committee of the competition has the right to conduct non-commercial activities such as media promotion, publication, distribution, and exhibition of all entries.
4. The award-winning works will be permanently collected by the organizing committee of the competition.
5. In case of any changes to the above schedule, the information and notices released by the organizing committee of the competition shall prevail.
6. The organizing committee of the competition reserves the final right of interpretation of the competition terms.
